Toxicity symptoms due to salts showed marked chlorosis, tip and marginal bums and die-back of small branches on the high chloride and sulpahte plants. Toxicity symptoms in all the ratios ie T1, T2 and T3 appeared at salt level corresponding to 0.12% salt
