The occurrence of all the five diseases in the Punjab during both the years (1977 and 1978) was recorded; ranging bud-blight 6 to 40 per cent, peanut mottle 4 to 14 per cent, ring mottle 2 to 7 percent, peanut clump 40 to 98 per cent and chlorosis 1 to 4
