Butachlor 1.5 kg/ha, benthiocarb 1.5 kg/ha, 2, 4-D 0.75 kg ae/ha and oxadiazon 0.75 kg/ha applied 3, 10 and 17 DAT were compared with 2 hand weedings (30 and 60 DAT) and unweeded control. The unweeded crop gave 28% less yield than with the best herbicide
