Three gel matrices were tried for immobilization of Fuasrium moniliforme mycelium. Amongst agar, polyacrylamide and sodium alginate gel used, entrapment of mycelium in sodium alginate gel gave the highest yield of gibberellic acid. For Immobilization 250
